STEMI Alerts to Winter Park Hospital

Effective immediately, Winter Park Hospital (WPH) will no longer be considered a STEMI receiving facility. Since WPH does not have an interventional cath lab or a helipad, STEMI patients must be transferred to Florida Hospital Orlando (FHO). Therefore, since we know that “time is muscle” and STEMI is time sensitive; units should bypass WPH and transport directly to FHO.
