RE: Transport to the OD Hospital – Advent Health Altamonte

Effective Immediately
Advent Health – Altamonte is designated as an overdose receiving facility for all suspected
narcotic overdoses, including alcohol.
Effective immediately you shall take overdose patients there from anywhere in the county to the
Altamonte OD receiving facility, unless there is a condition that needs immediate attention . . .
then follow protocol for the nearest recommended destination.
The protocols will be updated soon reflecting this destination change.
